GEORGE TOWN, Oct 29 (Bernama) – Xventure has opened its first indoor adventure park in Malaysia with an investment of RM8 million at The Waterfront Shoppes at The Light City here, marking the brand’s entry into the Malaysian market.
In a statement today, Xventure said the approximately 1,800-square-metre park features 11 adventure zones and 32 interactive attractions, combining physical challenges, interactive technology and social experiences.
“Key attractions include the eight-metre Challenger Arena, equipped with digital tagging and a real-time leaderboard, the 4.5-metre Aerial Rope Course and the Gigantic Seesaw.
“Designed for teenagers, adults, families and corporate groups, Xventure brings together individual challenges, technology-enabled competitions and group activities. Visitors can test their abilities, enjoy friendly competition and connect through shared experiences,” it said.
The opening ceremony today was officiated by Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Penang State Office director Dr Annuar Mohamed, and was also attended by Tourism Malaysia Northern Region director Abdul Hadi Che Man and Kiztopia Group chief executive officer and co-founder Heidi Tian.
Xventure said Penang marks its first venture into Malaysia following its expansion into Thailand and Hong Kong, with the company planning to use the launch as a starting point to explore long-term growth opportunities in the country.
The park also offers team-building programmes led by certified trainers and is working towards offering HRD Corp-claimable training and team-building programmes for corporate clients.
