KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 14) -- Epicon Bhd’s 70 per cent-owned subsidiary, Concrete Empire Sdn Bhd (CESB), has secured a RM47.38 million subcontract for the supply of precast segmental crossheads for the privatisation project of the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) Extension.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Epicon said CESB had accepted a letter of acceptance from IJM Corporation Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, IJM Construction Sdn Bhd.
It said the subcontract works are expected to commence in mid-November 2026 and be completed by the end of November 2028.
Epicon said the subcontract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s future revenue, earnings and net assets over the duration of the subcontract works.
