KLCI Futures Finish Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Wednesday in line with the weaker cash market performance. 

At the close, the November 2026 contract fell 1.0 point to 1,615.0, while the December 2026, March 2027 and June 2027 contracts trimmed 1.5 points each to 1,615.5, 1,597.5, and 1,597.5, respectively.

Turnover eased to 6,518 lots from 6,748 lots on Tuesday, while open interest slid to 42,838 contracts from 44,275 contracts previously.  

 At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI decreased 5.29 points, or 0.32 per cent, to 1,616.56 from yesterday’s close of 1,621.85.
